i've got only a few months left until i create a new account. so i've decided to spend some time doing something ive always wanted to do ever since i've joined DA; commisions.

this is how i've been thinking it over;

each drawing can have up to four different people. ask if you want more and ill think it over.


a fully colored inked piece, large in size and quality will cost 40 US$. this will take me from two to three weeks, and most of the time, the thing i will be drawing needs to be described THOROUGHLY and CREATIVELY or i will not put in my best work. [link]

a colored, simpler inked/non inked drawing with a very simple background will cost 30 US$; 35 if inked. these also will have to have enthusiastic descriptions or they will turn out crappy. i might even refuse to do it. [link] [link] [link]

a small, coloured sketch, inked or not, will cost 20 US$. i expectation for the creativeness for these are quite lax. [link] [link]

small sketches, up to four a page, will cost 10 US$. however the expectation for these are higher than the one before it. each sketch can be of two people, making a total of a possible 8 people a page. these will be cleaned up more than the examples. [link] [link]

how to submit a commission:

send me a note telling me what you want, with the type of quality.
HOWEVER
if you will bother to spend 10, 30, 40 dollars on me, you need to put in some effort in explaining in detail what you want. dont tell me you want an 'unmasked spy from tf2'. say instead, 'i would like a blond, 30-some old man, highly sophisticated, very snooty, smoking thin cigarettes and very pasty, pale skin in place of the RED spy. his mask will be in his lap while he sits on the living room couch drinking earl grey tea, trying to ignore scout, who is showing him his baseball. i choose the high quality, non-inked drawing with simple background." describe well and creatively. there is every possibility that i will decide to not do your order if it's too vague or boring.

its not that i'll be mad if you send in a vague description. i always want to do my best, and if you send in something i can't really get myself motivated about, the drawing will be bad, will take me a long time, and will not be worth the money you pay me.
